The little outage experienced by iHaloStats today was as a result of my testing of some new features on the site. The outage is over (there shouldn't have been one in the first place, but these things happen) and I'm happy to announce three new features:
ACHIEVEMENT COUNT
Although iHaloStats cannot unfortunately list the individual achievements earned by a player (due to no public feed of the data being provided by Microsoft), you can now visit the main stats page and see the number of achievements a player has earned. Any Halo 3 player worth their salt has at least 47.
HALO GAMERSCORE
Coupled with the Achievement Count data is the player's Halo 3 Gamerscore (out of a possibly 1000 Gamerscore). Impress your friends with your devotion and apparent abundance of free time.
ONLINE STATUS
Last but certainly not least, iHaloStats will now indicate whether or not a player is currently online enjoying Halo 3. If someone is playing Halo 3, the Halo 3 logo will appear in the corner of their portrait, in either green (online), yellow (away), or red (busy). Their "Last Played" status will also change to "Playing Now". Tapping either of these will bring up a small popup displaying their current Gamer Picture, their status (online, busy, or away), and other status-related information (e.g. "Playing Halo 3 Matchmaking in Lobby"). iHaloStats currently only indicates if a player is online playing Halo 3. It will not display an icon if someone is online playing another game or in the dashboard, because they are clearly wasting their time on less worth pursuits.
Enjoy the new features, and as always, send feedback and bug reports to me at MasterChief@iHaloStats.com.
