New Feature: More Halo Wars Stats

More Halo Wars stats were added this past weekend. Now you can see your "Overall" stats: Games won/used as UNSC/Covenant, resources gathered, leaders/powers used, building constructed, squads build, and techs researched, all for each gametype (Private/Public Standard/Deathmatch).

Tap on the highlighted column titles to sort by that column.

New Feature: Halo Wars Stats

Basic Halo Wars stats are now available on iHaloStats. Just look for the icon in the navbar. It currently only shows your black boxes and skulls found, and some very general information (skill level, player type, last mission, and first/last played) but it's a start.

Ideally it will fill out more as time goes on.

New Feature: Custom Games

Custom Games were always meant to be available in the Game History section along with Matchmaking Games but somehow they fell of the development schedule. Well, I'm happy to say you can now see the stats from these games as well.

As usual, e-mail me at MasterChief@iHaloStats.com if you notice any bugs or issues.

Minor Update: Small Changes to Navbar

Yesterday some small changes went live, mostly cosmetic. The most obvious change is the placement of the donate button on the Nav Bar in the spot where the About button used to be. The About button is still accessible at the end of the Nav Bar. Full list of changes includes:
  • New Donate button at front of Nav Bar.
  • About button moved to end of Nav Bar.
  • New Donation page, linked from Donate button on Nav Bar and About/Index page.
  • Minor wording changes on some pages.
  • Minor enhancements to the Medal Stats pages.
  • Updates page now sorts Bungie.net RSS by date (Bungie RSS feed always lists Weekly burying other minor updates even if they were posted more recently).
  • Updates page now more clearly indicates that links on page are to external sites.
  • Updates page no longer shows really old news items.
  • Links in twitter posts now actually link on Update page.
  • Minor problem with Linktacular medal not showing up on all pages should now be resolved.
This update was originally intended to include an enhancement to the navbar animations that would have made them a bit smoother and less javascript intensive. Unfortunately, the CSS animation support that would allow this seems to work fine in the desktop version of Safari but not in the iPhone version. The enhancement would have been nice, but we'll have to wait for a newer version of the browser to appear on the iPhone.

New Feature: Updates Page

iHaloStats now sports an Updates page which makes it easier to keep track of what is going on with the site as well as in the Halo universe.

The Updates page pulls a summary of the latest post from three sources: the iHaloStats Twitter feed (where I post micro-updates and messages), this blog iHaloStats.net (where I post full updates), and the official Bungie news feed from Bungie.net.

Tapping the title link of each story will take you to the full story on the respective site (Twitter, iHaloStats.net, of Bungie.net).

Screenshot Viewer Working Again

Tapping the thumbnails in the Screenshot section will now bring up the full-size image again. This was broken by a minor change on the Bungie site.

Screenshot Viewer Is Not Currently Working

Something is amiss with the screenshots section, specifically that it isnt showing anything when you tap the thumbnails. I am investigating.

Minor Update: You can now tap medals in game history

I case you can't recognize every Halo 3 medal instantly on sight, you can now tap the medals listed in the appropriately titled Medals tab of Games in a player's Game History to get a popup describing it (much the way you can on the Medal Chest).

New Feature: Combined Weapon Stats

Much like the combined medal stats pushed in the last update, Weapon Stats have been updated to show combined (Ranked + Social) stats on a single page. Simply choose "Combined" from the drop down list and enjoy.
